New Archive Release: "The Spectrum Will Live Forever..." - Philadelphia October 20, 2009 Ok, I'm particularly excited about this archive release as I was personally in attendance at this show and what a show it was. This was Springsteen's last performance at the legendary Spectrum. This was the second show Springsteen show I saw at this venue and looking back, I can't tell you how much I miss that place. I was really too young at the time to appreciate a venue like the Spectrum, where no matter where you sat, you were a part of the entertainment. Everything felt like it was just right there. More Than One Thousand Bruce Fans Sing No Surrender This is a pretty cool video to check out. More than a thousands Springsteen fans got together in Spain to perform "No Surrender" from the Born In The U.S.A. album. This is pretty similar to the viral video of fans singing The Foo FIghters' "Learn To Fly," but this time it's got a Springsteen song as the subject. Last year, Matthew Aucoin, stole one of the Philadelphia shows as he played the same song with The Boss (photo below), and was for sure one of the many highlights from The River Tour 2016. Springsteen Joins Steve Van Zandt Again On Stage This Weekend First of all, I apologize this is going up a little later than I would like it to. I was up in the Northern Pennsylvania for Memorial Day weekend and of course forgot my laptop. However, Bruce Springsteen surprise appearance lightning struck again at a Steve Van Zandt concert this past Saturday in Red Bank, NJ. Right before Springsteen took the stage to join Little Steven, a fellow E Street Band member, Steve joked around stating that he was going to bring up a friend who is currently out of work (see video below). NEW ARCHIVE DOWNLOAD: Helsinki 2012 It only makes sense to release Bruce's longest show ever in pristine quality right? Welp, that's what the folks over at live.brucespringsteen.net decided today as they officially released the record setting show. Bruce was wrapping up his European summer leg of the 2012 Wrecking Ball tour when he decided that he and the band would play for over four hours that night with some tour premiers making their debuts as well. A pretty good addition to the archive series although, I'm personally still waiting and longing for a Rising tour show to come out. The good news? RUMOR: Bruce Springsteen To Have Broadway Residency This Fall Update: New details emerged from the New York Post about the possible future Springsteen broadway run this fall. Click here to read the New York Post update. It sounds like the Walter Kerr Theater owner is getting nervous as Springsteen does not seem to be in a hurry to announce his broadway show. The owner has reportedly also turned down play offers to keep the fall months open for Springsteen. It now appears that Springsteen will be reading from his memoir, Born To Run, and picking up his guitar to illustrate a point within the book. RUMOR: Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band In Talks To Play Desert Trip II UPDATE: Billboard reporting this event will not be taking placeOk, who knows if this will actually happen but there are talks about Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band possibly playing at the possible Desert Trip II festival later this year in California. Rolling Stone has even recently discussed the possibility of Bruce Springsteen performing this year. And to be honest, they give some pretty good reasons why Springsteen might play and why he may not. There have also been talks on Springsteen fan boards about this event with one person stating that the band was already in negotiations. RUMOR: Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band To Also Play Japan In 2017 Last week we told you about how we heard Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band were going to be playing Australia in early 2017, we have now been told, by two separate sources, that Japan will also be included during the stops in early 2017. As we mentioned last week, we are not 100% sure about what the band will be touring behind but we're not so confident it will be behind the new "solo" album, so it is very possible that The River Tour may be continued/revitalized into 2017. Things are for sure picking up steam so we could be a few weeks away from an official announcement which should clear many things up. Stay tuned...Picture ...

RUMOR: Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band To Play Australia In Early 2017 I have great confidence in this rumor as it comes from someone who is rarely wrong. Bruce Springsteen is apparently confirmed to be hitting the road again in the early months of 2017 and one of the stops will include Australia. That's not it, to my surprise we were also told that The E Street Band will be joining The Boss during these shows. RUMOR: "Chapter and Verse" Album To Be Tied In With Upcoming Book Release I originally was not going to post this rumor as I myself doubted it, however, it seems to be picking up some steam.
