We said it before in the European rumor tour post that the band may extend their current North American tour into the months of April and possibly May. We just heard a little rumor that they will be hitting the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY in April. We have also heard that Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will return to play stadiums in North America after the European leg of the tour. I myself was a little shocked to hear this one! No word on where the tour will be heading but I would look towards the East Coast since ticket sales for the first leg were absolutely phenomenal and it would make sense to have stadium shows in strong holds such as New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boston, etc. If so, it would be hard to imagine that they would play the entire River album again from start to finish so it will be interesting to see how those shows pan out if this rumor is true. It will be interesting to also see if the stadium rumor turns true if there are a good amount of East coast shows in the spring. Just something to keep an eye on if their stadium plans change. Hey, what to those solo plans that were planned for the fall later in the year? Good question. At least at this moment in time, it appears that the band will be coming back state side for now to close out this tour.
