Tom Morello: "It's Been a Honor..."

Tom Morello, as we know filled in for Little Steven on the Australian tour, recently gave an interesting interview. Morello stated: "It's been great. It's really been an honor being on the same stage with one of my favorite bands - one of the greatest live bands of all time." Boy is he right! Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band really are one of the best live performing bands in the history of music, no doubt about it. Why? He doesn't play the same, dull setlist night after night. He always mixes it up. Morello even commented "And every show isn't just a different show - it is a completely different experience." During his own interview, Springsteen told Australian reporters "Our band plays very differently night to night. It's not a repetition, it's a renewal." One of my favorite parts of the Tom Morello interview was when Tom said that 90 minutes before a soundcheck, Bruce would text him "seven or eight songs that the band has never played before." I am assuming that this means on the Australian tour and not the Wrecking Ball 2012 tour, since Morello was not in the band at that time. It is a very interesting interview and encourage you to check out more at Rolling Stone
