Sydney Night One

The day after St. Patrick's Day and what does Bruce open with? A very fitting "American Land." Interesting choice but makes sense. Once again, there was no "We Take Care of Our Own" for the second straight show which is a surprise to say the least for me. "High Hopes" which was debuted in Brisbane two nights prior was kept in the set and should stay there. It seems to fit into Bruce's show very well and sounded excellent live, or at least in the videos posted. There were for sure some nice additions such as "Candy's Room" and "Adam Raised a Cain." The fact is that Bruce is switching it up every night. This show has been "short" compared to 2012's shows and even the Brisbane show. The first night in Sydney lasted about 2 hours and 40 minutes. Stan Goldstein had tweeted that a friend of his said that he may have thought Bruce was feeling a little under the weather. We can not confirm that of course but by the look of it in the video below, he seems to be his normal self. The band will be back in Sydney on March 20!

Bruce and band open with "American Land" in Sydney on March 18.
