Springsteen Will Not Play Full River Album After Monday

Bruce Springsteen made a statement that got the attention of a lot of people last night in Brooklyn before jumping into a full performance of The River. Springsteen said that these are the last two shows where the E Street Band would play the album from start to finish. This led to an argument whether Bruce meant just in the US or if he meant that he would not play the album over in Europe. Bassist Garry Tallent cleared the smoke in the room tweeting out that the band will NOT play the album in total and not in sequence, or in other words, they will not play the album from start to finish. I'd expect The River to still be very present in the setlist but it will be nice not knowing what song will be coming next giving it more of a Springsteen-esque kind of show that we all know and love. Pretty interesting and exciting news.
