For December's archive series release, we go back to 2006 during the Seeger Sessions tour. However, this isn't any Seeger Sessions show, it's from the New Orleans JazzFest, which Springsteen himself has said was one of his more memorable shows of all time. Only eight months prior to this show, New Orleans and Louisiana was hit incredibly hard with Hurricane Katrina which is still one of the deadliest and most destructive hurricanes in American history. The area was hit so badly that this festival almost didn't take place due to the conditions of the fairgrounds in which the festival was performed. This show also served as the official opening show of the Seeger Sessions tour. You can purchase this show by going to live.brucespringsteen.net.
