Earlier today Munich, Germany was treated to a special treat. The show conditions we not that great as it rained throughout most of the show, but Bruce and the band tried their best to warm up the crowd and put on a legendary E Street Band performance. They did not disappoint tonight. The show started with a very fitting "Who'll Stop the Rain" and jumped right into "Long Walk Home" which is a wave Bruce seems to be riding. From there some great favorites of "My Love Will Not Let You Down" and "Out in the Street." The next two were rare in two different ways. "Seaside Bar Song" was played for only the second time in Europe ever and only sixth time on this Wrecking Ball tour. Bruce then surprised everyone yet again with "Rosalita" coming out a little early again for the second straight show. Could Rosie be staying in the early set? I would probably like to hear it later in the set in the encores but this four pack sure had to wake up the crowd and warm them up! A few songs later Bruce announced that he would play Born in the U.S.A. from start to finish! Makes sense as Memorial Day is tomorrow in the US. Only second time on this tour where this album has been played from start to finish and is always good to see. No "Shackled and Drawn" tonight as Bruce went right into "Waiting on a Sunny Day" after the end of the Born in the U.S.A. album. "Pay Me My Money Down" opened the encores which could be the very first time ever to open the encores. I have yet to catch this one live but it appears that it gets a fun reception from the crowd as Bruce likes to play it every now and then. "Rocking All Over the World" made it's first appearance in 2013 and "Twist and Shout" closed out the show! Overall a very good setlist for a rainy Munich! Hannover is up next! And have a great Memorial Day if you are in the US!
