Joe Grushecky and The House Rockers just announced that they have added a second American Babylon 20th anniversary show at the legendary Stone Pony. The second show will take place on Friday October 23, the original show will be taking place the night after on October 24. Grushecky will be joined by E Street Band player, saxophonist, Ed Manion! Grushecky also announced that both shows will be recorded and later released as a live album. Both shows will also feature the playing of the entire American Babylon album which Bruce Springsteen produced, co-wrote two songs ("Homestead" and "Dark and Bloody Ground"), and has played on or sang on 8 of the 12 tracks from the album. Springsteen has not been confirmed to appear for the two shows.
Tickets go on sale this Saturday August 15 at noon via ticketmaster! However you have two chances to score tickets early thanks to Joe trying to get fans some tickets who missed out on the first show. Your first chance to score tickets early is this Friday at 10AM by going to ticketmaster and entering a code to be announced and your second chance is on Saturday at 10AM at the Stone Pony box office.
