Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band just wrapped up their second Stockholm where they performed one hell of a show! The show kicked off with an always powerful "My Love Will Not Let You Down" right into a new live favorite of mine "Leap of Faith." Bruce then took a sign request for "I'm a Rocker" and played into "Better Days." This had to have been the first time in a long time that two songs from Lucky Town were played on the same night, both are incredibly amazing live. The show then shortly later blew up when Bruce announced that the band will play the Darkness on the Edge of Town album from start to finish! The band played the entire Born to Run catalog the night before and now Darkness. Leads us to believe Born in the USA will be played at the next show or Bruce may close with just a crazy unpredictable night. I think Europe wants these full album shows to continue. The US got them in 2009 and they were really fun to attend and to watch. The only thing is that it doesn't leave a whole lot of room for surprises. But, when you get a full album from cover to cover, you don't care when you are in the moment. "Radio Nowhere" made a rare showing towards the end of the main set and Bruce decided to introduce the band during "Seven Nights to Rock." As some may recall he introduced the band during "My City of Ruins" however, that song has been dropped for these past two shows. The show ended with "American Land" which is one of the go-to show stoppers. Overall, Sweden gets another amazing show and now we'll have to wait a while before we see when the third night comes around (May 11)! Head on over to the setlist page for the full set and soundcheck. Turku, Finland is up next!
