Bruce Springsteen visited a fan in the hospital who was hospitalized due to collapsing at the closing show of The River Tour in Foxborough. Doctors are now stating that this was due to what originated as a cough, then to a cold, which ultimately has now turned into pneumonia. Springsteen does not buy it though. "I have to believe it was due to my four hour show," Springsteen said. "I feel like it is partially our fault. I'm not so sure I'm buying this pneumonia excuse either but hey, I ain't no doctor."
Springsteen decided to drop off a signed copy of his upcoming and unannounced Human Touch/Lucky Town boxset, due to be released in the winter of 2020. "It was something that I wanted to do and have been working on for a few years now. I see a lot of people complaining about how bored they are of the E Street Band shows so this is kind of to shut them the hell up." When asked if they will have a reunion tour for his 92-93 band, Springsteen replied "I don't see why not," as he smiled and gave a little wink.
