Springsteen And E Street To Extend River Tour To Play On Actual Rivers

A rumor has gotten out...the Delaware River Port Authority has claimed that Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are set to play on the Delaware River to support The River box set and this current tour. The rumor specifies that the show will take place on the Delaware sometime in August and will start up in Trenton, NJ and work it's way down towards Philadelphia, PA/Camden, NJ. Admission will be free and fans are encouraged to stand on the shore or even bring out their boats for a GA lottery "water pit." Interested fans with boats will have to register their boats on Springsteen's website and they will then be given a number, if their number is picked first, they will be the first boat in the water to pick their location along the route. Speakers will be placed along the shore lines and the ship carrying the band will be accompanied by speakers as well. One fan we spoke to said "I just have to make sure I catch them during 'Jackson Cage' and not during 'I Wanna Marry You.'" Stay tuned for possible more River shows to be played on actual US rivers...
